A Winter saga
This winter has been unusually cold for a long period with snow and ice. When I was a child, a long time ago, winters like this was more normal but with climate change, in resent years more rare. I’m happy to been able to be out and take photos even if the days are short. I can only say, thank you King Frost.
Now the snow is gone and the ice is melting on lakes and fjords. So I made a YouTube video with some of my favourite winter photos. Hope you like it.

I need the connection
to my inner child
playful and curious boy
where every walk an
endless adventure
not a three year old bully
throwing a tantrum
in jealous want to
cheating and stealing
I fear the grown up child
with to many expensive toys
mind of a three year old
our world as playground
fear silence
turn away eyes
from scared followers
in sandbox of simple messages
I want to be the boy
who willingly sharing
make a new friend just
to see someone else smile
Let the innocent child out

life's miracle in every grain of sand
filling the beach of truth

Plate ice is one the wonders of Mother Nature serve us and sometimes she invites to sit down in the sunset.

Morning light
The morning light shines through hundred year old windows. Before this building it was a school for the Salvation Army and was built in 1914. Converted to a hotel in 2004.

Below is my original photo. The light was very dramatic this day and I tried to sneak in a photo session before picking up my son at the bus station. Need I say that he had to wait for me? Don’t worry he did not have to wait out in the cold and he’s 27 years old and very understanding.

Winter beach
For a couple of weeks it has been cold below 0°C but the ocean still doesn’t freeze. A strong offshore wind from the northwest and the high content of salt prevents that.
Still, people go swimming even in this. They were skinny dipping so I did not take any pictures of that! It was like a Ingmar Bergman film, even the sky was blushing.
Sometimes you need to see the naked truth, ha de Gött!
Ice is settling
The ice is settling in the fjord and the last boat out left a trail.
