A calm and still, late summer evening in the fjord. One of those magical evenings where nature plays up its amazing light show.
Sun always shine on someone, ha de Gött!

Today it’s two years since I lost my son so to honor him I’d like to share some of his music. He wrote and recorded this piano piece, Calmness, just two months before he passed.
The pain and sense of loss never goes away, it just becomes a part of you. Ha de Gött!

Shadow and light, as life
to the end relentless, tick, tramp
contrast existence, good and bad
Seek the light, walk fearless
is the end dark and nothingness
let light guide you to the door
knock and walk right in
Good and bad times in life, only wish good times lasted a bit longer, ha de Gött!

Slip of the tongue
a comment landing wrong
wish I could control my
slippery slope of a tongue
a pun went sour
excuses for an hour
wish I could control my
slippery slope of a tongue
a frog left my mouth
now I’m heading south
wish I could control my
slippery slope of a tongue
Better to think before you talk, ha de Gött!

Driftwood on the sea of life
floating with currents and winds
ups and downs cycling waves
now let me rest on the beach
reflect before next storm
Planning is everything, plans are useless. Ha de Gött!

Mysterious in the evening sky
reflecting the light of day
scar faced towards the sun
eternal dance earth sun and moon
It’s okay to howl, ha de Gött!

Look through the cracks
on the other side can be
a guide to your better self
Aim for your best but be yourself, ha de Gött!

Relentlessly grinding
Relentlessly standing firm
Relentless dance of the elements
knock you
rock you
relentlessly relentless
Join the dance, ha de Gött!

Walk over glimmering red
cobblestone field
edges rounded
by ice and water
towards the valley of light
see what’s at the other end
Watch your steps, ha de Gött!

If it wasn’t for those flies the cows grazing in the summer green pastures must have a perfect life.
Keep calm and chew, ha de Gött!
