Enslingen

Enslingen

Shelter, against the wind
Savior, from the deep
Alone, on bare rock
Stubborn, trough time

This little shelter is called “Enslingen”. Translates to “the loner” or “the hermit”. It is built on the bare rock by the waterfront. Not very much information is to be found about this boathouse. I asked my father-in-law and he had a book with some info. I was expecting exiting stories but it was basically on two sentences.

It was built around year 1900 in this place as the bare rock was perfect to dry the large fishing nets. With the help of sun and wind they soon dried up. Now 120 years later it is a resting place for photographers and hikers in this fantastic natural preserve. Ha de Gött!

Footprints

Footprints

Untouched sand beach. Only footprints from the seagulls. Looking for something to eat at the waterfront. Washed up oyster shells casting a shadow in the evening light. Sometimes life is places like this.

Foliage

Unfolding green
snort and sneeze
CO2 to O
itchy red eye
soothing shade
anti-histamine
food and shelter
flooding nose

Yes, spring is here. Flowers and nature bursting in nuances of green. Full of fantastic pictures waiting to be taken. If I just could see through my watering eyes. I have an allergy to pollen. Luckily there are H1-blockers. Ha de gött!

Free like a bird
fly where ever you want
soaring the winds up high
sun kissed wings

What, no service on this flight
gizzard is empty, scream
freedom gone, got to land
dump excessive weight on a bald

Should have listen
take the full coarse
attention stopped after taking off
now I wish to be caught

The words were just flying around in my head. Perhaps a bit to much whiskey yesterday evening. I think this poem needs a rescue operation! Ha de Gött!

Surveillance

a giant eye
watching the night
looking, at you
looking, down on you
extraterrestrial probing
hiding in plain sight

The Moon. Our mysterious neighbor. Scientist say it is a planet and we see craters from meteors crashing to its surface. But, what if…. What if it really is a giant CCTV or an eye? Who, then is watching? Have a good night!

Gentle and Wild

Gentle and Wild

Ocean so blue and calm. Gentle and still for recreation and fun. Rock you in the rolling waves. Invites to sit and listen to the sound of silence. Only broken by a screaming seagull. A boat passing by. Fishermen out to harvest the rich gifts of the giant blue. Smell the salty breeze, filling your lungs. Fill you with life itself.

There it stands, proud in on a tiny rock. The Väcker lighthouse. Tall to be seen and give ample warning. Lights the way in the night. Green and red. Be sure to choose wisely. Proud to show its rusty scars. Scars from salt splashing winds.

Roaring and wild. Incited by the wind. The howling strong wind. Bashing the waves against everything in its way. Try to stand, and wind will push you down. Splash saltwater in your face. Winds howling, drowns the seagulls screams. Pray that all has found a safe harbor. Give and take. Be sure to show respect.

In times you are distant and cold. Just stands there like a black orb. Then I open you up. Light you up, turn you on. Set you on fire. Get you flaming hot. Your passion burn my eyes. My skin.

I inhale your every scent. Your flaming smoking hot gases. Gently place the flesh to your burn. It frizzles as it meets your glowing bars. Together we spice things up. Feeding my desire. I love you my little Barbie Que.

Inspired by John Malone and my Aussie friends who has the cute nickname, Barbie for this fantastic cooking device. The grill. Ha de Gött!

Grumpy

The grumpy old mountain ogre. With his stone faced stare. Don’t disturb his peaceful waters. Thinking of the better days, way back when. Discipline and respect when he roamed the world. The stuff he has seen. Doesn’t say much, just a rumble now and then.

One day Mother Earth will let him loose again.
