Smooth rock

Smooth rock

Sun kissed red granite rock, smooth and warm in the early summer evening.

Waves softly splashing their eternal soft lullaby, only broken by a jealous seagull scream.

Wind hushes your turmoil of thoughts to gentle stillness like a mothers soft humming.

Yes, it’s true, best things in life are free. Ha de Gött!

In between

In between

Red granit rock gorge in Tjurpannan natural preserve. So very often climbing that hill or rock is worth it. I was already breath taken from the climb so I almost passed out seeing this.

Take time to just feel, ha de Gött!

Fluffy Monday

Fluffy Monday

Let us wrap the Monday in a cozy soft cotton-grass (Eriophorum angustifolium), in Swedish Ängsull. Thrives in open wetlands all over the northern hemisphere.

It’s hard to be soft, ha de Gött!

Already when I took this shot I was ready to delete it due to overexposure. With a lot of work in Lightroom it came out okay or what do you think?

I almost expect Jesus or Odin to descend from the sky or it may just be my guarding angel making sure I saw the shallow. Theme from Star Wars fits here, so click here to hear my son perform it on the church organ.

Always challenge Mr Delete, ha de Gött!

Fly or die

Fly or die

It’s that time of year when most birds push their little chicks out from the nest. It’s a bit harsh. Fly or die! But it’s the rule of nature.

This is a Great tit. (For a brief moment I contemplated to use as headline for this post, could make traffic boom). He or she survived the first flight with a quick stopover on my shoulder.

Spread the wings of freedom, ha de gött!

Kalvö

Kalvö

Kalvö is one of three connected islands outside Havstenssund, Trossö-Kalvö-Lindö. Less than 10 people live on the island all year around but at it’s peak the islands had around 80 inhabitants. The island was an important hub for smuggling people and information for the resistance to the Nazi occupation of Norway during second world war.

Always try to be a good neighbor, ha de Gött!
