Passing by

Passing by

It sometimes feel like life is passing by.
On the other end of the tunnel.
Where there is always a brighter side.

You must pass thru the shadows.

Reach the end before the gate closes.
Dare to take a leap of faith.
Or forever be stuck in the darkness of,

what if!

Svensk version

Time

Time

In our time,
We have none

Too precious to waste,

Rushes past us,
Do we rush past it?

The only thing we have in abundance,
Until it leaves us behind.

An illusion of the past,
Chasing an unknown future.

Live!
Here and now,

Worrying about the future,
Is paying interest
On loans not yet received.

Each day has enough
Of its own troubles.

Our best time is now, is now, is now!

Swedish Version in this link.

Tick, tock, ha de Gött!

Written and recited by yours truly at our choir summer concert on the Swedish National Day, 6 June 2025.

Sculpting

Sculpting

Endlessly moulding
Elements flow
Freely
To see what, today
Can become, tomorrow
The universe strive
To chaotic order
Floating
Like grain of sand
Through the fingers
Of God

Svensk version (Swedish version)
Skulpterar
Oupphörligt formar
Elementen flödar
Fritt
För att se vad, idag
Kan bli, imorgon
Universums strävan
Mot kaotisk ordning
Flödar
Likt sandkorn
Genom fingrarna
På Gud

Are we not, only a grain of sand in the universe? Ha de Gött!

Family

Family

A family of Greylag goose (anser anser). The parents keep a close watch on me as they swim out of my reach. I hope some of the chicks survive this year. Assuming this are the same couple as last year in this spot, last year they had fewer and I don’t think any survived. I could count ten chicks, how may can you see?

Nature is beautiful but hard, ha de Gött!

Fresh breeze

Fresh breeze

Testing my new ND-filters on my favourite place, Tjurpannan nature preserve. In the fresh breeze it was a bit tricky to keep the camera still to get long exposure, even with a tripod. I’m pleased with the effect and I think the filters will be much used.

The more I practice, the more lucky I get. Ha de Gött!
