Rheinturm

The Rheinturm, Rhine Tower, Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf is the capital of Nordrhein-Westfalen one of the federal states of Germany. The city is situated where the river Düssel connects to the mighty Rhine river. The city is known for its industry that cover a wide range from chemistry to machinery. It is also an important city of culture and art with, for example, the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and Robert Schumann Musikhochschule. The old town, Altenstadt, is known for its many beer shacks and is often refered to as the worlds longest bar.

Wonder where the rest of that hawser is? Somewhere out on the seven seas. In storms and lull. Does it know that it left a bit of itself on the dock?

Did a sailor tosse it overboard? Broken and rejected at the bottom of ‘le grand blue’. Hiding place for Barracudas and Mermaids.

Not all questions will get an answer, ha de Gött!

Same scene different light, orchestrated by the sun and the clouds. Do you see the same things, and get the same feel from the three pictures?

Our minds play trick on us to makes a quick judgement call. That is part of our survival instinct. Today we need to be more careful to who’s pointing the light. If we don’t stop and look we can easily be lead astray.
