Six pack

Cardboard wrapped arrived this thing
long smooth neck and six string
locked in ruffed up shed
frantically played till fingers bleed
pays off with the coolest riff
rockin' hard like a giant cliff

friends with drum and base
life went off to another phase
greasy agent, giant record deal
life on a roll, that was the feel
playin' hard, no gentle song
nothing, could really go wrong

caricature like a bad cartoon
acting out like loon
sex and drugs and wrecking room
heading fast to his doom
tucked away in rehab
made comeback like Ahab

Rock on, ha de Gött!

  1. I love this, Ulle; love what you’ve done with the photo — you’ve gone off on a wild whirl of whimsy; clever and accomplished 🙂

  2. Great one, Ulle!! I especially like the first stanza but the whole thing has such great rhythm and rhyme and story.
