Christmas spirit

Christmas spirit

cringed rhyme on a package
oversized shopping mall Santa ho, ho, hoo
sleigh bells and jingles
wailed to pieces White Christmas
blasting from cracked speaker membrane
frantic blipping red hot gold cards
twinkling blank eyes, pulling arms
perfect Disney tree in Hong Kong plastic
coloured balls and flashing lights
hurry hurry get some more
you better buy for goodness sake
keep those wheels turning
get in that Christmas spirit

It’s a holiday, not a contest, ha de Gött Christmas.

The tree

The tree

The forester planted a seed and it sprung from the ground. He was pleased and nurtured the plant. Watched as it grew, shooting branches with foliage so green. He was widely praised for this beautiful tree and its fast growth. Pleased he sat down to closely watch over his tree.

Slowly the colours changed. Deep healthy green faded in to yellow and red. The forester franticly ran with buckets of water and fertilizer to bring back the green. Branches started to come off so he started to trim them to save what was healthy. All he could hear was dissatisfied grunts.

Slowly the tree withered and died. With heavy heart and tears in his eyes he walked away. Fingers pointing in discontent. On top of the hill he turned around to see. To see what was left of his tree. The dense forest around blocked his view. Blocking the sun rays.

Stay focused but don’t forget to look up, ha de Gött!

Smoke on the Water

Smoke on the Water

It was a rock’ n’ Roll weekend. Both smoke on the water and fire in the sky. Come on, you all know the famous riff. Let’s go!

We all went down to Grebbestad
On the sea Skagerrak shore line
To take pictures with the camera, yeah
We didn't have much time now

King Frost and the Ice Queens
Were at the best place around
But our sun put up it's flare gun
Burned the sky to red inferno

Smoke on the water, a fire in the sky
Smoke on the water, you guys are great

Air guitar, everybody. Yeah, ha de Gött!

shade from oak, and linden tree

what hides there, in the dark

fairies and trolls, can’t you see

at night they dance, to mark

autumn in the meadow

Let your imagination run wild, ha de Gött!

Around the bend

Around the bend

Around the bend

in the flowing light

a place to mend

in the shadows

a place where things will end

Around the turn of the road

in the bright shining sun

a smile to carry my load

in the shade of falling leaves

is the universe waiting to implode

Stay the course, there’s no turning back. Ha de Gött!

Awkward

Awkward

awkward situations, eyes moving like pinballs

discomfort, bubbling laughter in the elevator

mystery, who done it

some countries has melodies playing

to drown the rear end fanfare

stealth smelling or loud like thunder

don’t say the words, blush and giggle

don’t keep it in, let it all out

you must, it’s a law of nature

Don’t be shy, let the trumpet sound, ha de Gött!
