Moored

Moored

The ship Lyngholmen, moored at Helsingør guest harbour. Doesn’t carry a nation flag but a ship looking the same and with the same name is registered in Norway. It was built in 1955 and named Hankø and the name was changed in 1993 to Lyngholmen. Home port close to my home, just across the border in Fredrikstad.

Ship ohoj, ha de Gött!

Berliner Fernsehturm

Berliner Fernsehturm

With its 368 meters the TV-tower make a fantastic landmark and symbol of Berlin, viewable from almost any angle in this fantastic city. The tower was completed in 1969 by the east German republic DDR to remind people in the west of the east. It holds a restaurant and a viewing café in the cupola at 200 meters. This rotates around two times every hour.

Hope you enjoy the pictures. As a bonus a film from the 21 seconds elevator trip down.

Watch where you’re going, but do look up. Ha de Gött!

Berlin Alexanderplatz

Berlin Alexanderplatz

Been off grid for a while because I’ve been traveling. To the capital of Germany, Berlin. 900 pictures in the camera and another 200 in the phone so I have some sorting to do.

Today I share a picture of Berlin Alexanderplatz from 209 meters above. Taken from the TV tower (Fernsehturm) that is a landmark, viewable from all angles, in Berlin. With a total height of 368 meters it is the highest building in Germany.

Backlit

Backlit

Did some experimenting with the light using the most beautiful flower as a model. Not only is the model beautiful but she also has the most beautiful name, Lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis). In Swedish Liljekonvalj. I hope the picture made her justice.

The more I try, the more luck I have. Ha de Gött!

Blank

Blank

Not only the water surface was blank, so was also the sky. Clear skies is the landscape photographers nightmare. After struggling with myself I decided that this picture work with the blank water surface sorrounded by the rocks.

What do you think, please give me your feedback in the comment field.

Embrace the stillness and let your mind go blank, ha de Gött!
