for a moment
holding still
in ice and snow
an eternal round trip

A feeling of despair creeps up
all was done according to standard procedure
don’t give up yet, start over and over until
you make that dreaded call
after eons of signals a barely audible voice
guttural murmur at the other end and a long sigh followed by
What can I help you with?
frustrated sizzling between teeth explain, repeat, explain, repeat
then the question, THE QUESTION!
drops a red blanket like a matador in front of your dimmed eyes
Did you reboot?
mustering all strength to be polite state in a forced exhale
Ten times, ten **** times
another long sigh and a bored murmur
Hang on I’ll consult a colleague
another eon of your non existing time passes while contemplating
what should go out the window, you or that useless piece of equipment
the murmuring voice on the phone finally comes back
You did say you did reboot, right?
a rushing sound in your head that portends
that a fuse is about to blow you hear
Sorry, can’t help you but we’ll send a tech…… Next week
drained of all energy, defeated, beaten, out for the count
as you leave in tears you hear behind you
the machine miraculously coming alive
you go back only to see your, pale and hollowed eyed long lost colleagues
emerging like zombies from the dark corners of the room
gather around with grin like hyenas moaning
My printouts, my precious printouts
Inspired by my sons encounter with the printer room. Ha de Gött!

A picture says more than a thousand words, ha de Gött!

He could feel something beside him. Just that notion of movement that for a split second sent a chill down his spine. Instinctively he turned to see. With a gasp and a stumbling step back he realised he was staring onto his worst fear. The chill from his spine spread like a spiders web over his back. His heart skipped a few beats before it starting to pump harder. The tongue went dry and started to swell as his mouth opened so wide that the chin almost hit the floor. A long drop as he was a tall person.
Staring back at him with open mouth was and old man. Bald with bushy eyebrows and thick hair coming out of the nostrils and ears. Wrinkles like canyons covered the pale reddish skin. A bit of contradiction he found himself to think. He froze staring at the scary image of a crocked back trying to lean back. The chill had turned into a dripping sweat when he heard his wife’s voice in a hazy distance. Forcing himself to snap out of the shock he managed to squeeze out a “huh”.
Now he could clearly hear his wife telling him in a loud voice to stop prance about in front of the mirror!
Age with grace, ha de Gött!

Mysterious forest track
what’s around the bend
will I meet Rapunzel
long blond hair from a cliff tower
stumble over racing hare and a hedgehog
smoke smelling and well fed Hänsel und Gretel
is that a cat in a hat and boots
feel the stare in the neck from seven ravens
a few steps further seven short men singing
Cinderella and Snow White dancing hand in hand
Sweet dreams, ha de Gött!

Left here since the ice age some ten thousand years ago. Watching how the nature around slowly changes. Generations come and go. Past generations believed these blocks of stone was thrown by giants or the the gods. The stone knows.
Fact or fable, where’s the fun. Ha de Gött!

We have evolved to harness the forces of nature Homo Sapiens - the sensible man on top of the evolution hierarchy the grown up among species but we behave like spoiled children sense of consequences underdeveloped stripping Mother Earth of her gifts like a pack of hungry Hyenas will we ever grow up and face consequences of our actions learn to never take more than we need
The future is not there because we can’t see it, or….. Ha de Gött!

Softly rolling onto the shore
whooshing to a crescendo to break
pulling back to the great blue
to collect new courage
for a new caress of the rock
dandling back and forth
a lullaby of natures infinity
Keep calm and stay safe, ha de Gött!

Creeping up from behind
its target it will find
with kaleidoscope light
blocking out all sight
the brain, a freight train
on a poor track full of pain
in full frantic spin around
heavy metal amplified sound
pray it soon will stop
before your eyeballs pop
in throbbing agony weep
hope for oblivion of sleep
There is only one good killer, painkiller. Ha de Gött!

Knocked down, but refusing to stay down. Crooked and gnarled stretches towards the sky. We seek the straight and easy path but the winding and turning makes life, life.
Take that turn and see the adventure, ha de Gött!
